又到了一年一度的「MTV 音樂錄影帶獎( MTV Video Music Award )」的時刻了，今年，最風光的音樂人當然就是新一代天后 -「Taylor Swift」。

靠著〈Bad Blood ( feat. Kendrick Lamar )〉以及突破 100,000,000 人次點閱的〈Blank Space〉，Taylor Swift 一口氣被提名了「九項大獎」，包括：「最佳流行音樂錄影帶( Best Pop Video )」、「最佳流行女歌手音樂錄影帶( Best Female Video )」、「年度音樂錄影帶( Video of the Year )」、「最佳合作( Best Collaboration )」、「最佳導演( Best Direction )」、「最佳剪輯( Best Editing )」、「最佳影像特效( Best Visual Effects )」、「最佳攝影( Best Cinematography )」以及「最佳藝術指導( Best Art Direction )」，幾乎可說是囊括了本屆所有大獎項的提名。

而男藝人方面，則由 Ed Sheeran 最為風光，被提名了「年度音樂錄影帶」、「最佳流行男歌手音樂錄影帶」等六項大獎；Beyoncé 則以五項提名佔據第三順位。

值得注意的是，嘻哈新生代鬼才 – Kendrick Lamar，不僅因 Taylor Swift 的〈Bad Blood〉沾光，本身更是以黑白種族議題的歌曲〈Alright〉，入圍了「四項大獎」，分別是「年度音樂錄影帶」、「最佳流行男歌手音樂錄影帶」、「最佳嘻哈音樂錄影帶( Best Hip Hop Video )」以及「最佳導演」，可說是當今饒舌歌手中，受萬眾矚目的新一代巨星。
