狗仔一向嗅覺靈敏，但料不到這種能力能幫狗仔覓到新朋友。

近日在美國北卡羅來州，有人拍到有一隻狗在沙灘上掘窿，以為牠嗅到有甚麼可疑物品，但約十秒鐘後，牠停下手腳，隨即有一隻蟹仔從洞裏鑽出，蟹仔重見天日即瘋狂周圍奔跑。

但其實相比牠們的體型，狗仔一口就可將蟹仔叼住再放入口，但狗仔之前一路追，蟹仔起初都可能感到害怕，不斷來回地爬，但蟹仔停下時，狗仔只是俯身伏在沙上，一邊好奇地盯着，一邊用鼻在嗅蟹仔的鹹水味道，見狗仔沒有惡意，蟹仔都放下戒心，停下與狗仔慢慢交流，更在狗仔面前大騷舞技。
