英國沃里克郡一名80歲的老翁，日前開車到湖邊釣魚，豈料在離開時，他不慎連人帶車墮河，一名目擊事件的農夫立即報警。

不過正所謂薑越老越辣，老翁不但沒有絲毫慌張，據拯救隊伍透露，他們於下午2時20分到場，發現老翁正在半淹在河中的車廂內淡定吸煙，還在與穿水靴下水察看其情況的農夫在聊天。

救援人員說：「我們發現他時，他正含著煙斗淡定食煙，並與穿上水靴的農夫聊天。他沒有受傷，亦沒有感到寒冷，但為免他著涼，我們把他濕透的衣服脫下，再利用救護車將老翁送回家，而消防則在場善後，把河中的私家車吊上地面。」

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: ìThe man who is in his eighties had gone to the farm to fish in its lake. After his car ended up in the water, he smoked his pipe and chatted to the farmer who went into the lake in his waders. Firefighters carried him from his car back onto land. ìHe wasnít hurt or even cold but ambulance crews removed his clothing to ensure he didnít get cold and he was driven home in the ambulance.î
