Dr. Dre 新專輯《Compton》上架　Kendrick Lamar 趁勢向 Drake 開炮

自從 1999 年的《2001》之後，Dr. Dre 便再也沒有於大廠牌發行過自己的專輯；相隔了 16 年，伴隨著 N.W.A 的自傳電影《Straight Outta Compton》上映前夕，Dr. Dre 終於將萬眾矚目的個人專輯《Compton》在 iTunes 上架！

這張受到自傳電影《Straight Outta Compton》啟發的新專輯，將包含了 Eminem、Kendrick、Ice Cube、Xzibit 以及 Snoop Dogg 等饒舌天王共同助陣；同時，Dr. Dre 也在 Apple Music 的 Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 節目上表示，所有《Compton》專輯的版權收益將會全數捐出來，並且在加州的康普頓( Compton )成立「表演藝術中心」，回饋給他的家鄉。

另一點值得注意的是，在《Compton》這張專輯中，新生代西岸饒舌天王 Kendrick Lamar 以歌曲〈Darkside/Gone〉和〈Deep Water〉向 Drake 開炮（在 2013 年時，這兩人曾有過交鋒）。Kendrick Lamar 瞄準了 Drake 的〈Energy〉與〈Started From the Bottom〉這兩首歌曲大做文章，有興趣的人可以先去聽過〈Energy〉與〈Started From the Bottom〉後，再往下看 Kendrick Lamar 的歌詞。

〈Darkside/Gone〉中，Kendrick Lamar 唱道：

But still I got enemies giving me energy I wanna fight now/ Subliminally sent to me all of this hate/ I thought I was holding the mic down

而在〈Deep Water〉中，Kendrick Lamar 以〈Started From the Bottom〉的主題和 Drake 的暱稱「6」作為嗆聲的內容：
