近日，在英國李斯特的一個動植物公園，上演了一場精彩的海陸軍大戰，一頭黑白㹴犬與一對雌雄天鵝對陣，㹴犬以速度制勝，而天鵝以體型抗衡，加上以眾敵寡，勢有一場龍爭虎鬥。

事緣㹴犬在湖邊抖暑游泳，牠冷不提防游到一群小天鵝身邊，本來牠並無任何惡意，但天鵝媽媽見狀，誤會牠想襲擊小天鵝們，於是立即衝上前向㹴犬示威。

㹴犬不服被誤會，於是與天鵝媽媽展開搏鬥，天鵝爸爸見狀亦加入支援，媽媽負責保護小天鵝。㹴犬一開始主動進攻，牠咬住天鵝爸爸的翼，但天鵝不斷拍翼令牠鬆口，㹴犬之後繼續嘗試，但牠似乎發現這行不通，因牠們體型相差太遠，㹴犬能咬到的都只是冰山一角。

後來㹴犬跳回水中，想用自己的靈活度晃過天鵝，但在水中，牠的氣力很快便用完，很快㹴犬就不斷沉到水中，大勢已去的牠唯有上水逃走。

拍攝整個過程的是一名已退休工程師Paul，他說：「天鵝為了保護自己的骨肉而傾盡全力，幸好這場打鬥是在較淺水的地區進行，否則㹴犬想逃走都可能有困難。」
