ADI收購Test Motors以擴展用於工業4.0之狀態監測產品

台北2019年10月30日 /美通社/ -- Analog Devices，Inc. (ADI) 宣佈收購 Test Motors，其為一家專門從事電機和發電機預測性維護之公司，總部位於西班牙巴賽隆納。該公司所提供的產品和服務可提前檢測出電機故障以避免影響生產進程，並會根據如何、及何時進行維護提供建議。此次收購擴展了ADI 狀態監測解決方案組合，協助於停機和災難性故障發生前識別設備故障。

此次收購是 ADI 繼2018年成功收購 OtoSense 後於工業領域的又一舉措。OtoSense 為一新創企業，所開發之學習和識別聲音或振動的「感測解譯」軟體能在問題惡化前確定工廠機器或汽車引擎中的潛在問題。OtoSense 的人工智慧 (AI) 平台專用於感測解譯，並支援對任何資產的監控而不受位置限制。ADI 計畫將 OtoSense 的軟體與 Test Motors 的監控功能相結合以創建解決方案，透過掌握更廣泛的潛在故障為機器提供更先進、全面的健康狀態監測。

ADI 自動化和能源事業部副總裁 Kevin Carlin 表示：「機器維護在很大程度上依賴於經驗豐富的技術人員和工程師，他們能夠檢測和診斷可能導致意外停機的問題。但是，隨著需要維護的機器數量快速成長，受過訓練的專業人員開始供不應求。透過收購 Test Motors 和 OtoSense，ADI 的狀態監測方案能為客戶提供具備完整早期異常檢測功能的系統，進而解決此專業資源短缺的難題，避免意外且代價高昂的機器停機。」

Test Motors 團隊將加入 ADI 的自動化和能源事業部，並作為關鍵技術小組工作。所收購的財務條款並未披露。
