華麗搖滾的代表人物 David Bowie 昨天（1/11）與癌症對抗 18 個月後不幸去世，享壽 69 歲，而同樣是搖滾巨星，同時也是他好友的 Paul McCartney 也發表了他發自內心的哀悼：「在這個陰雨的早晨，我收到了這個不幸的消息，」McCartney 在 Instagram 發表了令人心痛的聲明，同時附上他已逝妻子 Linda McCartney 在 1985 年為 McCartney 和 Bowie 拍的照片。「David 是一個很棒的巨星，我很珍惜我們曾經在一起的時光。」

「他的音樂影響了整個英國的音樂史，我也很榮幸的認為他巨大的影響了全世界的許多人。」他繼續說道：「我獻上我最誠摯的哀悼給他的家人們，我也會永遠記得我們這幾年一起歡笑的時光。他將會化作一顆閃亮的明星高掛天空，直到永遠。」

雖然 McCartney 和 Bowie 沒有一起在錄音室裡合作過，但他們倆曾經在 1985 年的 Live Aid 慈善演唱會上同台，和其他許多藝人一起在台上合唱 Beatles 的經典名曲〈Let It Be〉。

自從 Bowie 的過世的消息一傳出，音樂圈眾聲嘩然，許多音樂人紛紛發表了他們的哀悼，以及對 Bowie 的特立獨行和遺留下的傳奇致敬。

搖滾樂團 The Rolling Stones 在 Twitter 上發表：「聽到我們最興愛的好友 David Bowie 過世的消息，我們感到震驚且深感心痛。」「除了作為一個善良而美好的人，他也是一個非凡的藝術家，真正的原創者。」

饒舌歌手 Kanye West 也在 Twitter 上發表：「David Bowie 是啟發我最重要的人之一，他的無所畏懼、他豐富的創造力，他給了我們一個魔法般的人生。」「我為他的好友及家人們祈禱。」
