之前我們報導了 Carly Rae Jepsen 新專輯的資料，而在今天，Carly Rae Jepsen 正式宣布了新專輯《Emotion》的發行日期為：8 月 21 日。

這位加拿大甜心曾靠一曲〈Call Me Maybe〉拿下多國冠軍，並且在 Youtube 上以六個月不到的時間衝破兩億人次點閱；這次新專輯《Emotion》將會在 6 月 23 日開放預購，歌曲〈I Really Like You〉、〈All That〉以及〈Emotion〉也會開放下載。

〈Call Me Maybe〉

《Emotion》將會由環球音樂旗下的 Insterscope 與 Schoolboy Records 發行，並且為了配合專輯的發行，Carly Rae Jepsen 將會再發行日當天登上 The Today Show 節目進行表演。Carly Rae Jepsen 也在今天宣布了七月份將會發行單曲〈Runaway With Me〉，以及該單曲的音樂錄影帶。

《Emotion》的錄音在許多大城市進行，除了紐約以外，還來到洛杉磯與瑞典的斯德哥爾摩等地，並且邀請了許多重量級的製作人，例如：替 Taylor Swift 與 Maroon 5 製作的 Shellback、Katy Perry 的製作人 Greg Kurstin、Madonna 的製作人 Ariel Rechtshaid，甚至連 Vampire Weekend 與 Blood Orange 這兩團的靈魂人物 – Rostam Batmanglij 和 Devonté Hynes 皆來助陣。

另外，Carly Rae Jepsen 近期掀起話題的新歌〈I Really Like You〉邀請到了奧斯卡影帝「Tom Hanks」來參與演出，創造非常戲劇性的效果。
